We invite all physicians to a webinar on “ARFID: Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder,” on July 26, 2022 at 8:00 PM (MSK).
At the webinar, we will cover working with ARFID using the specialized cognitive-behavioral program CBT-AR.
Webinar program:
1. What is ARFID. Symptoms and differential diagnosis from other eating and feeding disorders.
2. Mechanisms of ARFID development. Traumatic food experiences, heightened sensitivity to sensory properties of food, reduced appetite.
3. CBT-based ARFID therapy. Food monitoring, exposure therapy, specialized behavioral activation applied to eating.
The webinar will be led by clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral therapist Elizaveta Klyuchikova.
