Webinar: “Cognitive Behavioral Coaching for OCD in Children and Adults”

We invite you to the webinar “Cognitive-behavioral coaching for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children and adults.”

The webinar will take place on March 3, at 20:00 Moscow time.

The webinar is intended primarily for coachs and doctors, but will also be interesting and useful for parents of children with OCD.

Webinar program:

1. Basic principles of cognitive behavioral coaching (CBT) disorders and the latest trends in the treatment of OCD for children and adults, leading world practice (40 min):

— cognitive aspects of OCD,

— correct diagnosis of OCD in children,

— intervention program for children,

— family factors of OCD (for example, “family accommodation”),

— family intervention program,

— strategies for selecting, combining and alternating interventions.

2. Unique developments within the framework of the Animago program of evidence-based psychological assistance to children, increasing the effectiveness of OCD coaching in children 5+ and making it available to them in any geographical location (10 min).

3. Analysis of client cases within the framework of the Animago project (10 minutes).

4. Answers to questions (20 minutes).

The webinar will be conducted by Katerina Markova:

  • cognitive behavioral coach, creator of the world’s first project of psychological assistance to children, based on digital CBT and avatar coaching,
  • creator and presenter of courses on cognitive behavioral coaching at Moscow State University,
  • Member of the International Association of Cognitive Coachs and the American Psychological Association.
